Climate (cool, moderate, warm)

Growing-season temperature shapes acidity, sugar, tannin ripeness and aroma. Cooler regions give higher acidity, lower alcohol and more herbal or floral character; warmer regions give riper fruit, higher alcohol and softer acidity.
